What does corporate security include?
Corporate security is the full operation that keeps a business premises safe during and outside working hours. It includes front of house concierge, access control, visitor and contractor management, static officers, out of hours patrols, CCTV monitoring and incident response. For buildings with multiple tenants it also covers service alignment with managing agents and other occupiers. SQR Group runs each corporate deployment as a single managed operation with one point of contact.
Can your corporate officers also work the front desk?
Yes. Our front of house security officers are trained to greet, log and direct visitors as part of a concierge role, alongside their security responsibilities. For many clients the reception is the first impression of the business, so officers are briefed on tone, dress code and company culture before deployment. The security integrity of the entrance is maintained while visitors experience a professional, welcoming environment.
How does your out of hours corporate security work?
Out of hours corporate security typically combines a static officer on site through the night with mobile patrol cover for the surrounding area and CCTV monitoring from our Command and Control Centre. Alarms, access attempts and incidents are logged live and escalated according to the client’s protocols. Where buildings do not justify a full overnight officer, scheduled mobile patrols with keyholding provide a lighter touch alternative.
What vetting do your corporate security officers go through?
Every SQR Group corporate security officer is SIA licensed as a baseline. On top of that, we vet internally through our HR team, verify right to work, take references, run background checks appropriate to the site and brief each officer on the specific contract before deployment. Agency staff are not deployed on SQR Group contracts. All documentation is auditable and can be reviewed by your compliance team.
