What is private security and how is it different from residential security?
Private security is the ongoing personal protection of an individual or family, covering their life rather than just their property. Residential security protects a specific home or estate. Private security protects the person across home, travel, work and public engagements, with Close Protection, residential cover and transit security coordinated as a single operation. SQR Group’s private security is designed around the client’s actual daily routine, not a fixed service template.
How confidential is your private security service?
Fully. Every SQR Group officer signs a confidentiality agreement before deployment, our contracts contain binding privacy clauses and our systems are designed around discretion. Officer identities are not published, deployment details are not shared outside the operation and your household’s identity is never used in our marketing or referenced in any case study. Confidentiality is not a feature of our private security service, it is a precondition for it.
Can your private security service adapt to changing schedules?
Yes. Our private security operations are built to flex, because the clients we work with rarely have fixed weeks. Last minute travel, additional guests, event hosting and security requirements changing in response to news or circumstances are all handled through our Command and Control Centre. Officer movements, transport and additional cover are coordinated centrally without the client needing to manage any of it. The brief adjusts, the service does not break.
How are your private security officers vetted?
Every private security officer is SIA licensed as a starting point. Internally we screen for discretion and temperament as well as capability, take references, verify right to work and brief each officer on the household they will be joining before any deployment. For long term private contracts we aim to assign the same officers over time, so that trust and familiarity with the family build up naturally rather than being rebuilt every rotation.
